AdaptationHubs to join EU Covenant of Mayors Ceremony alongside Mission initiatives
15 October 2026
Charmlemagne building, Brussels, Belgium
Regarding the practical arrangements for 15 October, the Climate Adaptation Hub will be located on the ground floor of the Charlemagne building.
AdaptationHubs will be joining the EU Covenant of Mayors Ceremony on 15 October in Brussels, supporting the Climate Adaptation Thematic Networking Hub. This year, the Ceremony will feature five Thematic Networking Hubs designed to foster practical knowledge exchange, peer learning and connections between cities, EU initiatives and experts. The Climate Adaptation Hub will bring together cities, regions and European projects working to strengthen climate resilience and prepare territories for increasing climate risks. AdaptationHubs alongside other Mission initiatives like Pathways2Resilience, REGILIENCE+, UNDERPIN, as part of the Mission Implementation Platform for Adaptation to Climate Change (MIP4Adapt) community, will be represented in the Hub, offering participants the opportunity to connect with projects supporting local and regional climate adaptation. AdaptationHubs coordinator, Miljenko Sedlar (REGEA) will join the cities of Grenoble and Budapest to deliver short pitches, sharing local actions and practical experiences. The approaches and lessons are intended to spark further exchange with participants throughout the networking sessions. For those joining, doors will open at 8:00 am and the networking hubs will be open during the following breaks: 9:00-10:00, 11:30-12:00, and 13:00-14:30.
