Overview

The Luxembourg National Adaptation Hub is currently in a preparatory phase. It is being developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Biodiversity and Klima-Agence, with the aim of creating added value for the national strategy and action plan for adaptation to climate change 2025–2035.

The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) coordinates the Hub and supports knowledge exchange on climate adaptation governance across different administrative levels, while actively involving research institutions, businesses, and relevant interest groups.

\In its initial phase, the Adaptation Hub will focus on organising regular thematic workshops. These will foster knowledge sharing and mutual learning, while helping to identify existing strengths and bottlenecks in the governance of climate adaptation within the framework of the national climate adaptation strategy and action plan 2025–2035.

Key stakeholders include the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Klima-Agence, as well as other relevant ministries and public administrations.

The Luxembourg National Adaptation Hub supports stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels in moving from planning to implementation. It will do so by providing practical guidance, facilitating peer learning, and promoting tested and effective solutions for climate adaptation.
