Upcoming Cities Festival Workshop: Enabling Nature Restoration in Cities: Ambition to Action!

28 October - 27 August 2026, 18:23

Join UNP+, NetworkNature, and the City of Paris for the Cities Festival this November for a full day of capacity building, practical workshops, and peer-to-peer exchange bringing together more than 200 participants. Designed for nature-curious cities, the event will explore how Urban Nature Plans can help local and regional governments translate the Nature Restoration Regulation into action, integrating biodiversity, nature, and wellbeing across the urban landscape. Through hands-on sessions led by or involving local and regional government representatives, participants will share experiences, explore barriers and enablers, and connect Horizon Europe knowledge with real-world practice, while discovering Paris’s own urban nature work. The event is open to all, with a particular focus on local and regional decision-makers and technical experts.

Miljenko Sedlar, coordinator of AdaptationHubs at the Northwest Croatia Energy and Climate Agency will be co-facilitating the morning workshops session, bringing the perspective of multi-level governance to the discussion on implementation and policy for nature-based solutions.
